Remarks

This sewing table, displayed in the master bedroom of the Fenyes Mansion, is a reproduction of a late 18th century form.  Sewing tables, or “lady’s work” tables were small and portable, designed with interior compartments to hold sewing accessories.  This one features a pouch designed to hold yarns or fancywork.
