The Gamble House and Pasadena Museum of History welcome all ages for a free day of architecture, art, and exploration!

 

At The Gamble House:

  • Enjoy self-guided tours of the first and second floors of the Gamble House. Docents will be available to answer questions.
  • Join The Pasadena Conservatory of Music for family friendly “Musical Storytime” with interactive craft activities and performances by PCM students, led by Young Musicians’ Department Chair, Rachael Denny.
  • Create a scenic interpretation of your Gamble House visit with a variety of papers, cards, and images (materials provided) with Gloria Newton from Remainders Creative Reuse.
  • Join educator Natalie Massa in relaxation time in our Library Tent, a place for story time, reading and a chance to decorate your own thaumatrope.
  • Check out one of our most favorite cars to see at the Gamble House: A DeLorean!
  • Kogi Tacos Por Vida food truck will be available from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

At Pasadena Museum of History:

  • Explore the exhibition Lights, Camera, Action! Hollywood Magic in Pasadena.
  • Enjoy Mini Self-Guided Tours of the 1906 Fényes Mansion and Finnish Folk Art Museum. Docents will be available to answer questions.
  • Watch classic silent films and enjoy free popcorn in the Giddings Room.
  • Enjoy the lively music of Gypsy Jambo!
  • Kids of all ages can create their own unique zoetrope using colored paper, stickers, and simple decorative designs with Art 2 Go arts and craft workshop.

Picnics and blankets welcome at both locations.
Individuals with all abilities welcome.
