The 20th Century brought about a new era of quilt making and a very different look for the American quilt. Pasadena Museum of History invites you to Shakespeare Club of Pasadena to join Community Stitches co-curators Leah Zieber and Arlene Stevens for an up-close viewing of select examples of antique and vintage quilts from the 1880s through the 1950s from their personal collections. This trunk show will illustrate the changing styles of quilt making through the early 20th century and show how feed and flour sacks as well as premade kits enhanced quilt makers’ lives.
