Pasadena Museum of History, in collaboration with the Pasadena Society of Artists (PSA), proudly presents the exhibition 100 Years – 100 Images from February 28 to September 14, 2025, in honor of the Society’s Centennial Anniversary.
This celebratory presentation is both a retrospective featuring pivotal historic pieces honoring PSA members across the decades, as well as a juried display of artwork by present-day PSA members. Highlights include works by the Society’s founding artists – such as Benjamin Brown, Marion Wachtel, and Orrin White – as well as pieces by early members, including Walther Askin, Jae Carmichael, and Jirayr Zorthian. The contemporary, juried component will be on display in two successive groups, from February 28 to June 1 and June 5 to September 14.
The following 100th Annual Juried Exhibition Award winners, selected by acclaimed painter/juror Michael Obermeyer, are on view in this exhibition:
Awards of Merit:
Art Carrillo – “Mariposa Queen”; Tsvetelina Valkov – “Missing”; Ken Weintrub – “Square Series #40”
