Remarks:

Eva Scott Fenyes created 14 folio volumes of pencil, ink, and watercolor sketches that chronicle her life and travels between the years 1869 – 1928. Volume 8 includes sketches from her trip to Hungary and Austria in 1896. This watercolor of Budapest, Hungary was sketched in the year she married Adalbert Fenyes in that city.

More than 3,800 watercolors and sketches painted by Eva Scott Fenyes document her life and travels from 1866 to 1929. These are preserved in the Fenyes-Curtin-Paloheimo Papers. All of these images are digitized and available for viewing in the Research Library & Archives. The Braun Research Library of the Autry National Center also houses more than 300 watercolors by Eva Fenyes of California adobes and missions.
