Pasadena Museum of History and The Gamble House present Romance Along the Arroyo – A
Valentine’s Day Event.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in vintage style as two historic homes on the Arroyo welcome guests on Saturday, February 14, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Enjoy an evening of romantic music, sparkling toasts, sweet and savory treats, and an abundance of architectural and decorative delights.

At Pasadena Museum of History:

• Visit the 1906 Fényes Mansion and discover the subtle art of floral communication through the Language of Flowers while enjoying light classical music played on a 1907 Steinway & Sons grand piano.
• Explore our current exhibitions Stories, Traditions, & Designs: Spotlighting the African American Quilters of Los Angeles and Cha-Rie Tang: 48 Years of Artistic Innovation in Pasadena.
• Visitors can step inside a 19^th century Finnish farmhouse at the Finnish Folk Art Museum.
• Commemorate your visit with a silhouette portrait by Silhouettes by Candice.
• Enjoy Valentine’s Day shopping in our Museum Store, where we feature ceramics, jewelry, photography, and textiles by regional artists.

At The Gamble House:

• Visit the Gamble House to find inspiration in the warm embrace of Craftsman architecture. Knowledgeable docents and live acoustic guitar will be there to greet you.
• Admire the beauty of Japanese bamboo art on view throughout the Gamble House as part of our current exhibition, From Strand to Sculpture.
• Compose a custom typewritten poem with a local poet from Typewriters Anonymous and take home a treasured memory.
• Shop for handcrafted Valentine’s Day gifts, treats, and more at the Gamble House Bookstore.

Admission is per person and will give you entry to both Pasadena Museum of History and The Gamble House. Must be 21 and over to attend. Valid identification required at check-in. Attendees can check-in at either Pasadena Museum of History or The Gamble House locations.
