Join PMH Curator of History and Exhibitions Julia Long on three upcoming Exploring Pasadena on Foot walking tours. Learn about Pasadena’s unique history on these two-hour strolls through the city. Each tour will cover a different historical topic and location in the city.

Learn about Pasadena’s long and complicated relationship with alcohol on this two-hour stroll through Old Pasadena. Pasadena prided itself on being a “dry” community even before Prohibition, which obviously meant that there was rampant rule-breaking everywhere you turned! Explore the ups and the downs, the “wets” and the “drys,” that have characterized this colorful slice of the Crown City’s history.

This tour will begin at 34 Union St, Pasadena, CA 91103 and end next to Lucky Baldwin’s Pub (17 S. Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105).

Space is limited; advance reservations required.
