We invite you to visit El Alisal – Charles F. Lummis Home and Garden. Explore one of the earliest examples of the Arts and Crafts movement in Southern California. This historic home was designed and built by Charles F. Lummis (1859-1928) over the course of more than a decade beginning in 1897. Enjoy light refreshments and hear fascinating details from our host PMH Visitor Services and Outreach Manager, Christian Rodriguez, who is also the Curator of El Alisal. This special after-hours event will include access to areas not regularly open to the public.

A lecture, Inventing the Southwest: The Architectural Significance of El Alisal – The Charles F. Lummis Home is scheduled for Thursday, August 21 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are sold separately. For tickets and information, click here.
